I need that NEW NEW year round!
August 1st came on Saturday and I was like Oh Sh!t, the year is almost over. Naturally, I started accessing my year thus far; had I done everything I sought out to do? Was I closer to my dreams? Well, what about that project? I said I was going to do that, but didn’t? It didn’t help that August 1st meant that my 28th birthday (Oct 1.) was exactly two months away.
Then it dawned on me, I have the opportunity to start anew every single day. My newness doesn’t start in January. That whole “new year, new me, new beginnings” can be limiting. It starts whenever we decide to let that light into our life. Every morning, every month, every quarter… is an opportunity for new blessings. We don’t have to live within the constraints pushed on us by society. We aren’t lab rats! We can change things in our lives whenever we choose too. It’s definitely ok to make a new vision board in the middle of the summer. I probably will to be honest. LOL!
By no means am I saying disregard holding yourself accountable to plans you put in place, however don’t allow your shortcomings to paralyze you. We have the opportunity to live our best lives every single day! That’s Gods gift to us. Take advantage of it.

Yes, I can relate to this message. I started to feel anxious about the year ending but I decided to focus on what I’ve accomplish instead of what I didn’t.
