Trust the Process
For some reason this morning something told me (probably a message from God) to look through my photo booth app on my computer. I came across a video I recorded in 2012 after a 10-hr work day. I recorded my frustration about not knowing what the hell I was suppose to be doing with my life. You will see and hear my frustration because my life lacked purpose. I also lacked understanding in thinking that it was all about the money. Its not! Who knew that 5 months later I would be quitting my job and starting Can’t Stay Put™. I’m not quite sure why today out of all days I came across this video, but I knew that I needed to share it. Many people struggle with what I struggled with just two years ago.
I honestly believe that when you genuinely yearn for your purpose with every bone in your body, it will come. As I sat and watched the video, I found myself wanting to hug the 24 year old me and tell her, “trust the process.” At the time, I was mad, confused, and frustrated, not knowing my world would change drastically in a matter of months. As you can see now the rest is history. I hope this provides some comfort to those who are at a crossroads. One piece of advice I would give, You must be in pursuit of finding your purpose, you have to start doing to figure out what you want to do!
