I get it from my Momma

I dedicated two Instagram post to my mom that explains her tremendous influence on the reason I “Can’t Stay Put™”. She’s the original traveler and collector of experiences. Here are the pictures & the words I shared with them.

“There is a joke amongst my mom’s friends and family that she was the original Can’t Stay Putter and I’m CSP 2.0. Because my dad raised me in Atl, I spent my summers and weekends with my mom in DC. Every summer we would get a big sheet of white paper and create our vision for all of our summer trips. I started traveling because of her and to be honest there would be no #cantstayput without her. She’s the type of women to accomplish whatever she puts her mind too and I’m grateful to have such an inspiring Mother. From being valedictorian in HS to being one of the first blk ppl to graduate from Duke to go on to Harvard to eventually work for the Bill Clinton administration. She kinda like a big deal…. And even though my career choice isn’t orthodox or as clear cut has others she still RIDES for me! ❤️❤️❤️”

Me and The original Can’t Stay Putter, my Mom ❤️… When I would visit her in DC during the summer, she would have me complete workbooks on all the monuments and write reports about my experiences when we would travel places. I guess you could say I’ve been in training since a youngin.”
