Explore & Shoot: Lo + Maiya
With the launch of CSP 2.0 comes new things! I’m excited to introduce the Explore & Shoot series. I will be collaborating with other explorers, wanderers, photographers and anyone else with a sense of curiosity to explore various places around the world and capture it! Unlike CSP Experiences, The Explore & Shoot series is just that–exploring and shooting, less commentary. Face it, people don’t like reading, so I’ll try my best to get good visuals to tell the story.
I was invited by Maiya to join her in exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains. Maiya, like me, shares a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. So as you can imagine I didn’t think twice when she reached out to collab. She’s affectionately known as “the weather girl,” but for good reason. She’s in school studying atmospheric science and geography. Her goal is to bring awareness to environmental iniatives and promote outdoor activities amongst African-Americans.
